Academic licence of EPOS-Plan – tariff “Campus/Student”
For studies, teaching, research and vocational training we offer EPOS-Plan on favourable terms. The academic licence can be purchased both by universities, schools, technical colleges and other educational institutions and directly by individual students, pupils, apprentices, doctoral candidates and teaching staff. A contract between your university or school and us is not required.
Range of functions
The academic licence includes the full range of EPOS-Plan features — functionally identical to the regular licence. Only the permitted use is restricted: study, teaching, research and training; commercial use is not permitted.
Price
EPOS-Plan Campus/Student (12 months): 60.00 € net per year plus statutory VAT — total price 71.40 € incl. 19 % German VAT. Billed in advance. If you only need the software for a short period, we also offer a 3-month licence at 42.00 € net (49.98 € incl. 19 % VAT).
What is expressly permitted
- Use for term papers, project and student work, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral theses, for internships, examinations, competitions and classroom teaching
- Publication of the results obtained with EPOS-Plan in the respective thesis or paper
- Named-user licence: device-independent use (e.g. notebook and desktop PC), but not simultaneously on several devices; the named user may be changed at any time
- Paid activities within the scope of your studies or training (working student, internship) as well as a thesis written in cooperation with a company are not regarded as commercial use
What is not permitted
Only commercial use is excluded, in particular paid planning or consulting services for third parties. In case of misuse we may terminate the licence for cause and charge the difference to the price of a regular licence.
Proof of eligibility
A simple copy, scan or photo of your current enrolment, school or training certificate or of your student ID card is sufficient. The proof may also be submitted by e-mail after ordering — printing or faxing forms is not necessary.
Ordering
The “Campus/Student” tariff is available as a regular shop item and can be ordered directly online: EPOS-Plan Campus/Student (12 months).
Alternatively, an informal order by e-mail to info@epos-plan.de is sufficient. Please state your invoice address, e-mail address and the name of the user. Optional: the title of your thesis and the university or school.
Term, cancellation and right of withdrawal
The initial term is 12 months. After that the contract continues for an indefinite period and may be cancelled by either party at any time with one month’s notice; it is not automatically renewed for a further 12 months. Cancellation in text form (e.g. e-mail) is sufficient, or you can use the cancellation button “Verträge hier kündigen”. Consumers additionally have the statutory right of withdrawal.
Optional: if your work is graded, we would be glad to receive a copy afterwards. If that is not possible for legal reasons, that is perfectly acceptable too.
